An unrivaled combination of silicon and system expertise, manufacturing strength, Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio and strategic partners positions the Company at the forefront of System-on-Chip (SoC) technology and its products play a key role in enabling today's convergence trends.  The Company currently offers over 3,000 main types of products to more than 1,500 customers, including Alcatel, Bosch, DaimlerChrysler, Ford, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Motorola, Nokia, Nortel Networks, Philips, Seagate Technology, Siemens, Sony, Thomson and Western Digital. The ST group was formed in June 1987 as a result of the merger between SGS Microelettronica of Italy and Thomson Semiconducteurs of France.

industry leader in the innovation of high-performance

Silicon Laboratories is an industry leader in the innovation of high-performance, analog-intensive, mixed-signal ICs. Mixed-signal ICs enable the analog world we live in to interact with the digital world of computing in customer products like set-top boxes, televisions, and cell phones. Developed by a world-class engineering team, Silicon Labs’ diverse portfolio of highly-integrated, easy-to-use solutions are designed in CMOS, the most widely available process technology, enabling significant integration advantages without sacrificing performance.
Headquartered in Austin, TX, Silicon Labs is a global enterprise with operations, sales and design activities worldwide. Founded in 1996 on the principles of constant innovation and solid execution, Silicon Labs’ strong business fundamentals and proven track record have resulted in sustained growth throughout the company's history.
Silicon Labs' portfolio of both application specific and general purpose products includes high-performance, mixed-signal 8-bit microcontrollers, 32-bit microcontrollers, broadcast audio and video solutions, wireless transmitters and receivers, digital isolators, touch sense controllers, proximity and ambient light sensors,  ISOmodem® embedded modems, ProSLIC® subscriber line interface circuits, silicon direct access arrangements (DAAs) and clocks and oscillators. These patented solutions serve a broad set of markets and applications including consumer, communications, computing, industrial and automotive.

Silicon labs C8051F series MCU break
C8051 MCU is designed and manufactured by Silicon Labs. The most widely used instruction set for 8-bit microcontrollers (MCUs), the 8051 core has a long history and a tremendous, widely used code base.  Silicon Labs’ popular 8051-based MCU portfolio leverages this broad installed base. But these are not your everyday 8051 microcontrollers.

8051 MCU architecture

Silicon Labs’ 8-bit MCUs are based on a patented implementation of the 8051 instruction set architecture designed to maximize instruction throughput while retaining complete object code compatibility. The result is a ‘hard wired’ implementation of the 8051 MCU CPU, as opposed to the original micro-coded version. The instruction set is mapped to a basic two-stage pipeline to increase throughput while maintaining an 8-bit program memory width. The result is a high-performance 8051 MCU architecture that executes most instructions within 1 or 2 clock cycles and delivers 20 to 25 times the performance of the original 8051 core. Delivering up to 100 MIPS peak throughput, Silicon Labs’ 8-bit 8051 MCUs can satisfy the performance needs of many embedded applications more economically than costlier MCUs. We can crack all kinds of C8051 MCU.
